They say one mans junk is another mans treasure. So, does this apply to women as well. It's time to purge your supplies and clean up your space. Have you looked at that paper over and over and wondered what ever possessed you to buy it. I know I have. Do you have stamps that you have used and want to get rid of. We are going to hold a garage sale just for those items. You can rent a table for $10.00. (tables are 2x4feet) You do not have to be here to make sales.
All $$ earned during the sale will be converted dollar for dollar towards credit in the Pantry. So if your treasures bring in $50.00 then you will receive a $50.00 credit in the store.
Items must be labeled, priced and dropped off by Wednesday, September 15th by close of business.
So, dust off the cob webs and bring those treasures into the Pantry!

National Cardmaking Day

Join us at the chocolate bar and make cards from staff designs. Each staff member has designed a card - each with a different theme. Only a toonie per card. For each card you make we will donate one just like it to the Colonel Belcher Hospital.

When: Friday, October 15th - Sunday, October 17th. Feel free to arrive anytime after 3pm on Friday and stay unit 3pm Sunday!
Where: Ptarmigan Inn in beautiful Banff
Cost: $300 per person based on double occupancy and includes:

Jen Starr returns to the Pantry

INK BOOTCAMP $50.00
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
(4 hour workshop)
This workshop will give you a basic training on a variety of different types of inks and embossing pwders. You'll learn what they are, what they do, what surfaces they work best on and how to choose the right ink for your projects. Working mainly with Ranger product lines you'll explore the differences between inks such as dye, pigment, alcohol, archival, Distress, Colorwash, and more. We will make a technique reference book with 6 x 6 mini-layouts/card fronts with instructions for each page and type of inks used. This class will give you the knowledge to use inks properly and to their full potential!
**Please bring to class: heat gun if you have one, variety of adhesives, acrylic block, scissors, pencil and paint brush.

Let your layouts take flight on butterfly wings with the new Alteration dies from Tim Holtz and Sizzix. We'll create a fun 2 page layout by combining some gorgeous new papers, glimmer mist, distress inks, chipboard, glimmer screens, several of Tim's dies and of course some great inky techniques!

ALTERED JOURNEY MINI-BOOK $45.00

If you love everything Tim Holtz then this class is for you! We'll be creating a 6 x 8 mini-book with a "journey" theme using some of Tim's greatest products including some of his dies and embossing folders from Sizzix, Idea-ology embellishments, stamps and of course inks! During your journey in class, you'll learn some fun and unique techniques along the way to make this project a one of a kind!
**Please bring a basic tool kit including 12" trimmer, sanding block, ruler, Crop-o-Dile or hole puncher, scissors, pencil and variety of adhesives.
Scrapbook Pantry Classroom
Look for the Classroom to start getting busier again in mid-September. Our classes will be back in full force then, including a new and improved two night Beginners Scrapbooking Class and a two night Cricut Basics Classes. We're also trying a few new ideas like Mom and Daughter Dinner and a Movie!
Scrapbook Pantry Wish List
Creating a wish list at the Scrapbook Pantry is good and easy! Simply come into the store and pick up those items you'd like to place on your wish list. We can call your information up on the computer, scan those items and then put them back on the shelves for you. And voila... once saved, you have a wish list! Perfect for when there's a big event coming up and all you really want is scrapbook stuff! You know, it's never too early to start dropping those hints for Christmas or your birthday! If you buy items off your wish list, please let us know so we can remove them. And of course, tell the important people in your life that you have a wish list at the Pantry. They can come in, armed with only your phone number, and we can help them put together a gift for you!
