Love is in the Air - February 2 @ 10am or 6pm

Do you LOVE Spellbinder's Nestabilities, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Rubber stamps, embossing powder and beautiful papers and embellishments.  If you do, then "Love is in the Air" is the class for you.  In this class you will be using these products to create two greeting cards, a LOVE notes mini composition book and a post it note book using products from Kaisercraft as the base.  Sharon will also discuss how to draw inspiration from different items like the mini composition book and post it book to create a card design.  These designs are perfect for Valentines, Wedding, Anniversary, Thank-you or simply to express how important someone is in your life. Kids Class - February 6 @ 1pm

Krista will be doing valentine cards with the kids.  They will create eight cards using a variety of techniques - perfect for giving at school or just for friends. Drop the kids off for a couple of hours of crafting fun. (Instructor: Krista; price $20)
 

Dinner and a Movie - February 6th @ 6pm-Midnight
Bring your paper crafting supplies and join us for a six hour crop complete with dinner and a movie!  We will order individual sized pizzas, a beverage and watch movies on our big screen TV.  Chocolate will be involved. (member price $25, non-member price $45)

 
  Stamped Image Swap - February 10 @ 6pm

Are you addicted to your Copic Markers? Have you ever admired someone else's stamped images? 
If you answered yes to either of these questions have we got the class for you!!! Come and join us for an Stamp Image Swap Club. Bring your Inks, Paper, Stamps and Copics and join us for a fun time stamping.(Member Price: $10, non-member $20)

 

Ready, Set, STAMP! -- Monday February 22nd       @ 10am-12pm OR 6pm-8pm

Are you intimidated by stamping? Not sure where to get started? Then this NEW class series taught by Diane is for you. Each month Diane will explore the world of stamping with you, creating 2-3 cards or projects using stamps and various techniques. Each month will build on what you learned in the previous month; however, there is no need to attend each month and you can join in at any time. (Instructor: Diane Charrios; member price $20, non-member price $40)

Introduction to Copic Markers -- Thursday, January 21st @ 6pm-8pm
Come learn about the markers that have been taking the crafting world by storm from one of  our Copic Certified Designer, Shannon Tompkins.  Copic Markers are alcohol based markers that blend beautifully.  In this class you will learn about the papers and inks to use as well as some basics about the markers.  This class is mandatory to move on to our monthly Shades of Color Copic classes.  As part of your class fee, you will receive a colourless blender and a black momento dew drop ink pad. (Guest Instructor: Shannon Tompkins; member price $30, non-member price $50)

CRICUT CLASS -  February 18th and 25th @6pm-8pm
This is a two part class.  A must for anyone with a cricut or expressions machine or thinking about purchasing these machines.  This class has been designed to remind you of all of the little things you may have read and forgotten about your machine or even things you don't already know!  We will be learning about the settings of the machines and the basics of how to use them.  This is a hands on class with complete handouts on the settings and what each of the buttons on the machines will do. The Basics - Tuesday, February 16, @ 6pm  

Do you get overwelmed when you come into a scrapbook store?  Do you wonder why there are so many adhesives and which one is the one to use?  Would you like to start scrapbooking but not sure where to start?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the class for you.  We will be looking at the basic products to help make our scrapbooking easy and then how to use these products to create that first page.  You will go home with a completed page and lots of ideas for other pages. Tuesday, February 23 10:00 am to 12:00 noon - Alcohol Ink Techniques - beyond the basics!

Have you always wanted to learn what to do with Alcohol inks?  This technique workshop is full of tips, tricks and ideas to really get your creative juices flowing!!  Whether you are a scrapbooker or cardmaker you will learn how to incorporate them in to all of your projects in unique ways!  We'll be playing with things like embossed metal, acrylic, glass, transparencies, glossy paper and more to learn the versatility of these wonderful inks!  I'll teach you all you can do with them with full instructions for each technique giving you the knowledge and confidence to get creative!  ($30.00)

 

Tuesday, February 23 - 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Completely Distressed Masterclass

Whether you prefer a vintage style or bright happy colors, Tim Holtz's Line of Distress products can customize any paper crafting project to the look and color scheme YOU want to achieve.  In this workshop you will create six unique 8 x 8 layouts focusing heavily on technique. . . you can follow the color selections I've used in my samples or use the same techniques in colors of your choice!  You will learn how to use Tim Holtz stamps in artful and unusual ways to create beautiful backgrounds, borders, titles, embellishments and even tint photos.  We will use the complete line of Distress Products including inks, re-inkers, crackle paints, sticles, embossing powders with a few of m other favorite goodies mixed in.  The goal ofthis workshop is to teach you all that this line is capable of beyond just inking the edges!  Please bring to class a 12" paper trimmer, scissors, pencil, sticky note pad (4-6" if you have it), variety of adhesives and heat gun if you have one. ($60.00)
 

Tuesday, February 23 -6:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Glimmer mist Galore

Glimmer Mist has so many possibilities and I want to share that with you!  In this class we'll go through the basic tips and tricks of using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens and stamps right through some very cool advanced techniques. We'll make two double page layouts in your choice of colors with full instructions concentrating on each technique to make you an expert.  Please bring a heat tool if you have one. ($40.00)

 

 

 

House Mouse with Copics - February 24th @ 6pm

You've got your Copic Markers and now you need more stamps to use with those amazing markers!  Join Shannon's in her new class series in which we will be making 3 House Mouse cards using the Stamp of the Month from House Mouse.  She will be doing 3 different color combinations on each of the cards.  January's stamp is called Love Letters and is just adorable.  As part of your class fee, you will be going home with your own stamp.  (Guest Instructor: Shannon Tompkins; members price $30, non-member price $50)

Basic Kit
The Basic Student Supply Kit should be brought with you to each class unless you are told otherwise. The Basic Student Supply Kit includes:

 paper trimmer with cutting and scoring blades - xacto knife - ruler - adhesive (both double sided tape and liquid glue) - small scissors - pencil & eraser - paper piercer

Other items needed will be listed on your till receipt.  Please check with store if you do not have your receipt.

Refund Policy

There is no refunds or exchanges on classes.  If you are unable to attend a class then you may find a replacement or get a copy of the class kit after the class has completed.
